Brand Identity Update

Founded in 2003, Cinnamongirl is a non-profit that gives girls transformative experiences that build courage, confidence, and character. They offer programs that provide networking opportunities girls may not have access to. Please visit Cinnamongirl.org to learn more about this organization.

Brand Identity Update
Sometimes it only takes a minor tweak to update a logo. This was the case for Cinnamongirl. The original logo already had an interesting ‘g’, but it was created in a typeface without any font choices; i.e., bold, italic, thin, etc. To get the original thick/thin relationship, ‘cinnamon’ required an outline stroke. I wanted to find a typeface that had just as unique of a ‘g’ but also offered flexibility in font weights. Neue Kabel, by Mark Shütz, from Monotype has that. It also has a ton of font options, which any type nerd will tell you, is very exciting. For the new logo, I created a monogram that could be used with or without the logo.

Communication Design

I’ve created two pitch decks for Cinnamongirl; a general presentation that provides background about the organization and a targeted pitch deck for a specific donor. The presentation below is their general presentation that talks about the vision, impact, and programs offered.
